Conspiracy

Oh. My. God.  Could we just drop that word from our vocabulary, from the dictionary, from our minds...from the lame duck's constant attempts to thwart democracy--aided by his self-serving Reptilians--as he endlessly spouts of conspiracy?

Imagine this:  Thousands of vote-counting volunteers, hundreds of election officials, a multitude of postal workers across the land...all working together in a single, coordinated movement to corrupt our election process.

Seriously?  It beggars belief that anyone could give credence to such a stunning absurdity, let alone support the person currently hustling to devolve our democracy into authoritarianism for his own gain.

And don't get me started on McConnell, the man who holds the puppet strings and is really running this country. Trump--with absolutely zero political experience--isn't capable of understanding, or frankly even caring, about the American people, a deadly virus, the environment, our allies.  No.  If it doesn't benefit his agenda in some way, he can't be bothered, which is a great deal for his cronies, minions and sycophants (looking at you Trumpet spawn).

What I find utterly disturbing are the 70 million people who actually voted for this corrupt, very inept president.  I can't for the life of me understand why they would want another four years of a person who only thinks of himself, spends most of his time tweeting lies and conspiracy (damn that word!) theories, doesn't believe in science as virus numbers skyrocket, is a racist, misogynistic, fraudulent man who has 5-year-old temper tantrums on a regular basis when he doesn't get what he wants, or someone disagrees with him.  Really?  This is the kind of person they want representing the values and ideals of America?

And now, as if the whole buildup to the election wasn't horrible enough, we have a president who refuses to accept that he's lost.  Even if they do recounts, he's still not going to win.  But wait, in come the Reptilians, adding fuel to the fire, enabling, stirring the conspiracy (aaccckkk) of lies that the voting was a fraud, the Democrats are trying to steal the election, that Trump won.  Apparently, in Trump World, the actual votes cast by over 77 million voters, and the 279 Electoral College numbers, mean nothing.

I'm a bit beside myself these days.  I read this morning that Trump has fired, then hired several new people loyal to him, people now involved in national security, the military, the Pentagon.  It doesn't take much intelligence to follow this man's thought processes. He's stated many times that if he loses there will be civil war and he's been constant this past year in blatantly firing up his nutbar base of militants and rabble rousers.

I'm going to use this blasted word one more time, then forever wipe it from my vocabulary:  The one conspiracy I actually might believe?

Our constantly quacking, quacking, quacking lame duck is going for a coup, no matter that the people have spoken.
